The barbecue areas at the trekking camps will remain open for the time being despite the ongoing drought! The current forest fire danger index is currently at level 3 for our reference station Kaisersbach-Cronhütte. From hazard level 4 (high forest fire risk) onwards, barbecue areas must be kept closed. The current stable high-pressure weather conditions are set to continue and will bring us plenty of sunshine and dry weather on the first weekend in July.
We will continue to keep you informed here about the current forest fire danger level (WBI). Please be especially careful with fire during dry weather and follow our tips on making and extinguishing fires.
